Oil prices increase after Chinese higher requests hope


(MENAFN) On Thursday, oil prices increased motivated by signs that the world's second-biggest oil-consuming nation China's virus epidemic could be ending, increasing potentials of higher request.

International main Brent crude was exchanging at USD110.19 a barrel at 06:25 GMT for a 0.99 percent rise after ending the prior session at USD109.11 per barrel.

American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at usd107.67 a barrel at the same time for a 0.29 percent drop after the previous session ended at USD107.99 per barrel.

China's firm COVID-19 procedures to face omicron-motivated outbursts, mainly in the economic center Shanghai, have taken a toll on the world’s second-biggest economy.
