The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has removed MP Shantha Bandara from all the posts he held.
The MP was removed from the SLFP posts after he accepted a State Minister post in the Government.
Bandara was appointed as the State Minister for Promoting the Production and Regulating Supply of Organic Fertilizer.
He was appointed to fill in the vacancy created by the resignation of Shasheendra Rajapaksa.
The SLFP said that he was removed from his official positions in the party with immediate effect. (Colombo Gazette)
