Doha: The Doha Institute for graduate Studies has announced that Eman Abdullah Al-Sulaiti has joined the institute as Executive Director of the Administration and Finance Division.
In his statement, the Acting President of the Institute, Dr Abdul-Wahab Al Afandi, welcomed Al Sulaiti to join the Institute's team, noting that she is a distinguished addition to the team as she has nearly twenty-two years of extensive administrative experience in the field of business development, projects, governance, administrative compliance and entrepreneurship.
A great part of her experience was in the academic field, as she was last responsible for administrative governance at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development.
Eman holds a Bachelor of Science from Qatar University in 1999, an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Qatar, in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2015, and an Advanced Certificate from the same university in the luxury retail sector as a second major. in 2016. She is also a graduate of the Qatar Leadership Center (QLC).
Al-Sulaiti, who speaks Arabic, English, and French, has extensive experience in institutional work. Through her multiple roles, she was able to develop many regulations, policies, and administrative systems. She also developed strategic and executive plans and supervised their implementation, that is besides her experience in building strong relationships with various state institutions.
In 2000, Al-Sulaiti joined the government sector, the Supreme Judicial Council, and worked as an administrative specialist for five years. She moved later to work in the private sector as an administrative officer in the Gulf International Drilling Company. In 2007, she began working in the office of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser in the field of project management and foreign affairs locally and internationally.

During her time there, Eman was responsible for humanitarian projects in several crisis countries. After attaining her Associate Certificate in Project Management from ESI in 2010, she moved to
Ooredoo Qatar's Project Management Office (PMO). In that period, she implemented her knowledge and experience in overseeing projects in the organization for four years.
In 2015, Eman joined Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) as Director of Business Development, where she plays a strategic role in identifying, securing, and sustaining local and international business opportunities, partnerships, and building a solid network that supports the growth of entrepreneurship and startups in Qatar.
Eman joined Qatar Foundation recently as Manager of Corporate Governance, where she's responsible for the development of governance documentation for QF and all centers under its umbrella, as well as designing the functions and services in projects across QF. She's also responsible for the facilitation of international certification and awards.
Al-Sulaiti received numerous awards for her participation in several corporate and community initiatives; she was awarded an EFQM Professional Assessor in 2013, she was the ALFIKRA 3rd Place winner for Professional Category Projects in 2014, and received an Ooredoo Talent Award in 2015.
Additionally, she participated as a judge in Carnegie Melon University in Qatar for students' projects competition and Qatar University students' projects competition in 2016. She has also gone through many specialized training courses from Harvard Business School, Duke University, Chicago Booth, Al Jazeera Media Training & Development Center, Palladium, ILM, and other highly reputable institutes.
