(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Moscow, Jan 13, 2022, SPA -- Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib, on a current visit to Russia, paid a visit the headquarters of the Russian Public Prosecution Office in Moscow.
During the visit, he met with the Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.
During the meeting, the most prominent joint parliamentary and judicial files were reviewed, in addition to discussing ways to enhance legal cooperation between the two prosecutions.
The Russian Prosecutor General briefed the Attorney General and the accompanying delegation on the long work record of the Russian Public Prosecution and its most prominent historical turning points.
Al-Mujib spoke about the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Public Prosecution in pursuing outlaws and bringing them to justice, and addressing everything that would harm the security, social and economic peace of the country, stressing the unlimited and continuous support that the Public Prosecution finds from the rational leadership.
It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Public Prosecution and its Russian counterpart had signed in early 2019 a memorandum of understanding, which includes legal coordination between the two prosecutions, exchange of experiences and joint action in combating terrorism, corruption and transnational organized crime.
