Ministry of Commerce and Industry official heads Qatar delegation in the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and industry (MoCI) H E Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater headed Qatar's delegation participating in the Future Minerals Forum taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Within the framework of the summit, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry took part in the proceedings of the ministerial-level round table, which featured discussions on the future of sustainable minerals in the region, in addition to defining the necessary agenda to move forward.
Moreover, H E Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater participated in the 8th Consultative Meeting of Arab Ministers for Mineral Resources organised by the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The meeting addressed current and future projects to support the Arab mining sector, and tackled enhancing its added value, in addition to presenting visions and development strategies for this sector.
The Future Minerals Forum is attended by a number of Ministers, executives, and investors involved in the mining sector from around the world. The event comprises an international initiative organised by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to discuss issues facing the global mining industry, and look into ways to advance this industry and enhance relevant exploration and investment opportunities throughout the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.
