Amman, Dec. 22 (Petra) -- Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be 3-4 degrees below annual average, so cold weather and partly cloudy skies will prevail countrywide with light and intermittent rain in the northern and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist in most parts of the Kingdom, with westerly moderate to brisk winds, picking up at times, the JMD added.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across Jordan today will range between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 6C or even 2C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be warmer with mercury levels reaching a high of 23C and a low of 11C.
