German president-to-be declares selections of main Cabinet


(MENAFN) German President-to-be Olaf Scholz to achieve his voting drive assure for a gender equity Cabinet, chose women to key administration posts.

The Social Democrat president selected Christine Lambrecht, Germany’s present justice minister, as the defense minister, while Nancy Faeser, an expert representative, is going to be the first female interior minister in Germany.

Women will complete four out of seven Social Democrat (SPD) governmental posts in the new alliance administration, Scholz updated journalists.

He chose Svenja Schulze, the present environment minister, as development minister, while Klara Geywitz, a top Social Democrat person, is going to take a new position as housing minister.
