Chinese southwest ships tons of fresh fruits to Singapore


(MENAFN) According to the local authority council of trade, a payload plane carrying citrus fruits left Chongqing Municipality in southwestern China on Friday for Singapore. The load includes 300 kg of fresh citrus fruits from Chongqing's Zhongxian County under the trademark "Zhong Orange."

The payload from the farmlands to Singapore is supposed to arrive within 3 days, faster than standard land-sea transit by 11 days, ensuring the citrus fruits' vitality.

The first citrus fruit shipped from Chongqing to Singapore got delivered through the New International Land-Sea Trade Passageway "Zhong Orange" last year. Over 2,000 tons of these fruits have already been shipped to Singapore as well as other B&R nations and zones, and a frequent export process was already recognized.
