(MENAFN) Selecting new mayors and city assembly members, electors in the Balkan countries of North Macedonia and Kosovo went to the elections.
At least 3,400 voting places were open in North Macedonia from 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM local time (0500-1700GMT) for almost 1.82 million recorded electors to choose the numbers and parties, which is going to rule Macedonia locally for the upcoming four years.
During every poll, if no applicant receives over 50 percent of the vote Sunday, the two applicants with the most ballots is going to move to the second round next Sunday on October 31st, as electors are selecting 81 mayors and city assembly members for every city.
