Ukraine’s government accepts process for obligatory sale of electrical energy

(MENAFN) O Wednesday, Sep. 22, in a conference, the Cabinet of Ministers agreed to the process for the obligatory sale of electricity secondary manufacturers through electronic auctions, Ukrinform writes this while mentioning the Energy Ministry’s media service.

The statement includes, "From now on, electricity producers, regardless of ownership (except for those producers who have a green tariff and electricity producers who have acquired the right for support as a result of an auction), sell electricity under bilateral agreements exclusively through electronic auctions."

The Ministry of Energy says that this establishes a level playing area for energy trading in the business of two-sided pacts for all kinds of power manufacturers. The fresh regulations are predicted to motivate both creators and clients to focus on future pacts.
