New York: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met this evening with representative of the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah and his accompanying delegation at the Headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, on the sidelines of the seventy-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
At the outset of the meeting, HH the Kuwaiti Prime Minister conveyed greetings of HH the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,and Crown Prince HH Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to HH the Amir, wishing him best of health and happiness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, HH the Amir entrusted HH Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah with his greetings and wishes of best of health to his brother the Amir of Kuwait and the Crown Prince and further development and progress to the brotherly Kuwaiti people.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close relations between the two countries and means of supporting and enhancing them for the good of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. They also discussed regional and international developments of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
