Qatar’s FM meets with British counterpart in Doha


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Sep. 2 Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani conducted discussions with British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab on updates in Afghanistan.

Qatar is making attempts to accomplish a worldwide agreement on the conditions in Afghanistan, Al-Thani noted while addressing a joint press meeting in Doha.

He emphasized: “Qatar is a firm supporter of stability, security.”

With regard to the recommencement of drives at Kabul International Airport, he noted there is no clear sign of when it will begin operating.

The Qatari minister stated: “we are communicating with Turkey regarding the possibility of providing technical support at Kabul Airport.”
