China: Furniture segment sees stable expansion


(MENAFN) Figures from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled that China's furniture sector posted stable expansion in the first six months of 2021.

The ministry added that throughout the period, the sector’s operating income augmented 29.4 percent annually to 364 billion yuan (about USD56.3 billion).

According to the ministry, the combined proceeds hit 17 billion yuan throughout the period, increasing 27.9 percent from a year earlier.

The data unveiled that in the first half, a total of 521.9 million items of furniture were manufactured, increasing 30.1 percent annually.
