Syrian army intercepts Israeli missiles targeting Homs


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, July 22 (KUNA) -- The Syrian Army repelled, Thursday, an Israeli missiles attack on Al-Qusair area in Homs countryside, and downed most of the hostile missiles.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), military sources said that "At 1:13 a.m. on Thursday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the northeast of Beirut targeting some posts in Al- Qusair area in Homs countryside, and our air defenses intercepted the hostile missiles and downed most of them and only material damages were reported."
On Monday, the air defenses of the Syrian Army, confronted a similar attack on some posts in the vicinity of Assfayra area in Aleppo countryside and shot down most of the hostile missiles. (end)
