Iraq: Security forces bring down 2 drone in capital


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Jun. 16 the Iraqi military stated that Iraqi security forces brought down two unidentified drones over two locales in Iraq’s capital Baghdad.

The media office of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command (JOC) stated in a short declaration released a little after midnight local time that one of the drones had explosives and was fired late on Tuesday evening in an empty area close to al-Rashid Camp district in southern the capital.

With no further details, the JOC stated in a different declaration that another drone was brought down in al-Girttan district in southern Baghdad.
