Group of Libyan residents prepares meals for Muslims in Ramadan


(MENAFN)A group of Libyan residents of Tajura region of eastern Tripoli was setting meals for charity that dishes up those who fast in the holy month of Ramadan.

Xinhua quoted Salem Omran, a volunteer as saying that "This work started from the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and will continue until the end of the month."

He added that since the beginning of Ramadan, about 9,000 meals have been prepared," adding that "Everyone passing by this location is simply welcomed to get a meal."

Ramadan is observed by Muslims as the holy month of daily fasting, praying, and charity.
