
Afghanistan- University bus 'ambush' claims 2, wounds 6
At least two people were killed and six others were injured when gunmen targeted a bus carrying lectures and students from Baghlan University on Tuesday morning.
According to reports a student and driver of the bus were killed.
The incident occurred in the outskirts of Pul-e-Khumri city when students and professors were being transferred to Baghlan University.
Ahmad Javid Basharat, spokesman for Baghlan police told the media that 6 lecturers were also wounded and an investigation is ongoing in relation to the incident.
No group including Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
This comes just one day after a government bus was targeted by an explosion in Kabul on Monday, that killed at least 4 people.
