(MENAFN)Switzerland-based Adienne Pharma & Biotech is going to make Russia’s Sputnik V Coronavirus vaccine in Italy, recording the first European deal for the Russian shot.
The company and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) inked a deal in this regard, stated the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, according to Italian news agency Adnkronos.
The company plans to start production in July and make 10 million doses by the end of the current year.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) reported on March 4 that it had started examining Sputnik V.
