Turkey’s venture capital investments reach 74 percent


(MENAFN)According to the industry and technology minister, novel venture capital investments in Turkey raised 74 percent annual in last year to hit USD177 million despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

Venture capital and technology enterprises at the top of priorities in agenda of the 2023 Industry and Technology Strategies, stated Mustafa Varank.

He further said that "The mobilization we initiated in this field has yielded fruits."

The two funds in 2019, the Technology and Innovation Fund and Regional Development Fund -- were founded in promoting venture capital in Turkey.
