Venezuela: China sends ninth shipment of medical supplies to combat coronavirus


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Dec. 22, the ninth planeload of medical supplies from was delivered to Venezuela from China in order to help the state in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The planeload included "medicines and medical products," including" rapid tests and an oxygen concentrator," stated Chinese Ambassador to Venezuela Li Baorong.

Li emphasized the significance of joint efforts at a time when "the pandemic is spreading and the recession of the world economy deepening," as he was talking at the Simon Bolivar International Airport in the capital city Caracas.

Venezuela's Vice President Delcy Rodriguez expressed thanks to "China's solidarity."
