According to Greek officials and business delegates as lately cited by Xinhua, Greek-Chinese trade ties will grow further as Greece is getting ready to take part in the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will take place in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10.
Enterprise Greece, the official trade and investment promotion agency of Greece stated that, the country's participation in the approaching event aspiring to encourage global trade will be its unprecedented physical attendance in an exhibition since coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
Betty Alexandropoulou, executive director of Enterprise Greece stated that, "the CIIE is a very important initiative for the world ... It is a symbol of China's growing leadership in world trade, as well as an answer to rising trade protectionism internationally."
Greek representatives are aspiring to build on the important outcomes of the past year's participation while they are getting ready to go to Shanghai.
