(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, Oct. 15 (Petra) -- Bareeqtech, a Chinese company operating at the Aqaba International Industrial Estate, has provided 500 UVC disinfection and sterilizing lamps to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority ASEZA, in order to maintain a clean environment in light of the global spread of the coronavirus.
A statement by ASEZA Chief Commissioner, Nayef Bakhit, on Thursday said that the sterilizing lamps will be distributed in public institutions, schools and mosques as a qualitative addition to protecting the facilities of the city from viruses.
"The lamps were examined by the relevant authorities, and proved to be safe for human use," he added.
