(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday confirmed 121 infection cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 16 fatalities from the respiratory illness.
The figures took the country's caseload and death toll to 102,375 and 5,842, respectively, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press release.
The recoveries went up by 700 to 91,843 over the past 24 hours, he added. (end)
