Seven killed, 30 wounded in Syrian bomb explosion


(MENAFN) Based on a report released by a war observer, a car bomb blasted in a rebel-held city in the Syrian northern province of Aleppo, causing more than seven deaths and 30 injuries.

The car exploded in the Ashrafiyeh neighborhood in the center of the Afrin city in Aleppo, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that the explosion took place in the Ashrafiyeh neighborhood in the center of the Afrin city in Aleppo.

It further included that the number of deaths is expected to increase owing to the large toll of people whose health condition is critical.

In its turn, the UK-based watchdog group stated that the explosion occurred in a crowded civilian region.

Meanwhile, the pro-government Sham FM radio reported the explosion, saying three people were killed based on an initial casualty toll.
