(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 16 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to the United Kingdom and Denmark next week for talks on various issues, including the coronavirus pandemic, the State Department announced Wednesday.
State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said in a statement that Pompeo will travel to London, and Copenhagen from July 20-22.
While in London, Pompeo will meet with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to discuss "global priorities, including the COVID-19 economic recovery plans, issues related to the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Hong Kong and the US-UK Free Trade Agreement negotiations."
In Copenhagen, Pompeo will meet with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen "to discuss the pandemic, the PRC, and other matters". (end)
