Lebanon's airport revives following 4 months of shutting in excess of Coronavirus


(MENAFN) On Wednesday July 1 Lebanon revived Beirut airport subsequent to four months of shutting down because of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Hamad Hassan Lebanese Health Minister declared throughout his visit at the airport that special procedures were taken by the ministries that are engaged in the airport's reviving, the civil aviation authority and security forces to guarantee protection of tourists, emigrants and locals.

Hassan stated that "The measures that are taken at the airport aim to select suspect cases and prevent them from getting in touch with other people in the society,".

The ministry stated that in spite of the constant boost in contagions since 10 days until today, hospitals are using a negligible figure of ventilators and there survives many unfilled beds at private and public hospitals.
