(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Doha, June 1 (Petra) –– Qatar said Monday that two new coronavirus deaths and 1,523 confirmed cases were recorded in the Gulf Arab state in the last 24 hours.
According to the Qatari Health Ministry, 3,147 COVID-19 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 33,437.
It said in a press statement that the reason behind the rise in the number of recovered cases is due to the ministry's endorsement and enforcement of up-to-date international recovery criteria.
