Tunisia: 17 new coronavirus infection cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS, May 28 (KUNA) -- Tunisian Ministry of Health said on Thursday it registered 17 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours bringing total count of contamination cases to 1,068 since outbreak of the pandemic in the North African nation.
The ministry said in a statement that it conducted, in the last 24 hours, 869 medical tests, with results showing 19 positive cases including two former cases that re-contracted the virus, in addition to 17 new ones.
Number of recoveries rose to 938, however 82 cases continued to bear the virus. (end)
