Blast in Chad leaves 11 dead

Local media said on Monday that a blast that took place in Western Chad in Lac province has left 11 people dead.

Local press Tchadinfos.com said that the explosion took place in the border commune of Kaiga-Kindjiria, which is frequently hit by attacks of the terrorist group Boko Haram, and the number of deaths in the explosion was 11, all of them terrorists.

The website said that "The explosion came after the mishandling of explosive devices by Boko Haram infiltrators in a room".

Boko Haram has killed six civilians in a suicide attack in Kaiga-Kindjiria in August of 2019.
