Over 100 irregular migrants rescued off Libya's coast


(MENAFN) On Monday, the Libyan nave managed to save lives of over 100 undocumented migrants off the nation's western shore.

"Coast guards rescued 108 immigrants on a rubber boat some 17 miles (27 km) off Sabratha coast," around 75 km west of the capital Tripoli, navy spokesman Ayob Qassem informed Xinhua.

Qassem stated that the illegal migrants are from several nationalities, and he also emphasized that there are 13 women and eight children among them.

Qassem affirmed that the migrants have been transferred to the anti-irregular migration after being provided with all the need humanitarian and medical help.
