Syria: 2 explosive devices blast in Latakia, Raqqa


(MENAFN) On Monday, two blasts occurred in Syria's northwestern city of Latakia and the northern city of Raqqa.

The news agency SANA stated that an explosive device blasted in the al-Tabiyat neighborhood in Latakia city and caused slight destruction.

The explosive device was likely planted under the dirt for a long time before being blsted on Monday, according to a source from the police department in Latakia.

In the meantime, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor affirmed that one man was murdered and nine others injured by the blast of a car bomb in the Raqqa city, which is controlled by the Kurdish forces.
