Chief of Islamic council in Germany hails Kuwait's support for Muslims


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BERLIN, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- President of the Central Council of Muslims IN Germany Ayman Mazyek has praised Kuwait's efforts for serving Muslim causes worldwide.
In remarks to KUNA on Saturday, ahead of his scheduled visit to Kuwait on Sunday, Mazyek said Kuwait has a successful and pioneering experience in the service of Muslims, describing it as an example for moderation and humanity.
Mazyek said he was looking forward to holding talks with Kuwaiti leaders to discuss means of boosting cooperation with Islamic associations in the country.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti ambassador to Germany Najib Al-Bader said Mazyek's four-day visit would be paid in response to an invitation from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqf and Islamic Affairs. (end)
