Dubai to bolster energy ties with China


(MENAFN) Dubai, a City in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), voiced interest alongside China to join hands and boost their cooperation in the energy sector.

Energy collaboration talks were held between managing director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer and consul general of China in Dubai, Li Xuhang.

Relations between the UAE and China were highlighted by the CEO of DEWA as solid, saying that the GCC nation is considered as the second biggest trade partner for China globally.

A number of leading Chinese firms are joining projects that DEWA launched, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
