(MENAFN) On Wednesday, both naval troops from Egypt and China have conducted a drill the Mediterranean Sea, Egyptian armed forces affirmed in a statement.
Some naval units including the Chinese missile destroyer "Xi'an" took part in the drills.
The drills contained many activities on fighting terrorism and fostering maritime security, inspections of ships, and sailing at night, the statement stated.
