Bangladesh- Halda Valley now exclusive tea supplier for Meena Bazar

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Meena Bazar and Halda Valley signed a contract at Meena Bazar's Dhanmondi corporate office on March 5 entitling Halda Valley as an exclusive tea supplier for the super shop.
This deed was signed by Shamim Khan, Managing Director, Halda Valley Food and Beverage Ltd. and Shaheen Khan, CEO, Gemcon Food and Agricultural Products Ltd.
Halda Valley will be distributing all of their products in every outlet of Meena Bazar from now on such as the exclusive Dragon Well Green Tea and Silver Needle White Tea. Soon the Golden Eyebrow Black Tea will also be available.
From Halda Valley Food and Beverage Ltd., Ashik Pasha, Head of Business Development and Azmain Rahman, Brand Manager were present. Shoyeb Iqbal, General Manager (Brand) and Abu Raihan Bhuiyan, General Manager (Supply Chain) from Gemcon Food and Agricultural Products Ltd. also attended the ceremony. Other high officials from both parties graced the occasion with their presence.
Dragon Well Green Tea is considered the king of all Chinese teas. It is also known as Long Jing or Lung Ching – the most expensive tea, counted as a royal drink worldwide. It is a variety of pan-fried green teas that has a distinctive emerald-green and perfectly flattened shape along the inside vein of the leaf. The tea leaves have a delightful fragrance and a majestic aesthetic appearance that makes Dragon Well into an extremely rewarding tea.
Halda Valley has been exporting their tea to China since 2016. A concern of PNL Holdings, Halda Valley has brought their exquisite Dragon Well Green Tea for the first time in Bangladesh by growing it in their lush green tea garden situated in Fatikchari, Chattogram.
