(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Moscow, July 24, 2019, SPA -- The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL), Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa has met here Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
The meeting, which was attended by leading religious figures, witnessed fruitful bilateral discussions between the two sides, and the exchange of experiences and views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
Patriarch Kirill expressed his happiness with the visit, commending the enlightened role being played by Secretariat of the Muslim World League.
For his part, Dr. Al-Issa pointed out that this meeting would be the beginning of an effective and important cooperation; after that he witnessed with Patriarch Kirill the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Muslim World League, and the Patriarchate of Moscow and all Russia.
