Cairo, May 20 (Petra) -- The Arab League General Secretariat and the Yemeni Republic held a meeting in Cairo to discuss implementing an Arab Summit decision to support efforts aimed at rebuilding war-torn Yemen.
The resolution calls on member-states, the financial institutions, Arab funds, pan-Arab organizations, and regional and international donors to provide the Republic of Yemen with the financial and technical support as part of a complementary program that will contribute to the rebuilding process.
It also calls for helping Yemen with regard to refugees and IDPs; training and education and health coverage, in addition to the employment and enabling program; the women empowerment program; ex-recruited children.
