China records 1,859 victims of contagious diseases in March
(MENAFN) Official data revealed that up to of 1,859 people have been killed in contagious diseases on the Chinese mainland in March 2019.
The National health and Family Planning Commission confirmed that there were 879,800 cases of contagious illnesses reported on the mainland in March.
There were no cases of Class A contagious diseases recorded in March.
Class A illnesses, including cholera and the plague, are the most critical classification in China's Law on the Prevention and treatment of Infectious Diseases.
