DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani sent yesterday cables of condolences to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr Barham Salih, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Adel Abdul Mahdi, on the victims of the ferry that sank in the Tigris river in Mosul in northern Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a cable of condolences to Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
