Jordanian Eilat employees in Israel up 33 percent


(MENAFN) Israel reached a decision to boost the number of day workers from Jordan to reach 2,000 employees from the current 1,500.

Israel imposed a 33 percent surge in the number of Jordanian employees at Eilat hotels for the first time ever since 2014.

Through the move, Jordanians are now able to enter the hotel industry in the southern city of Eilat.

The location is near the border with Jordan, which allows worker to make it back to their countries at night.
