Kuwait oil price down 79 cents to USD 61.21 pb

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by 79 cents to USD 61.21 per barrel Friday after being at USD 62 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.
Globally, while the price went up, it ended the week's trading with a loss due to renewed fears of a slow global demand for oil.
The price of the Brent crude went up by 39 cents to USD 62.02 pb, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which went up by eight cents to USD 62.02 pb. (end) ad.gta
