(MENAFN) Morocco's military announced its air force Mirage F1 to have collapsed in close proximity to Taounate, a northern city, on Monday.
The incident was announced in a statement issued by the General Staff of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces.
The military plane, the statement explained, suffered from a technical failure which caused the crash.
According to the statement, the crash did not leave any collateral damage with the pilot safe and sound as he ejected once the plane crashed and landed with no injuries.
