(MENAFN) Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs declared that a residential block Wednesday blasted due to an alleged gas leak in Didi Digomi district of Tbilisi.
The ministry added that three people have died as many more were wounded.
The blast occurred on the fourth floor of the recently-built nine-storey residential block.
Rescue laborers are still attempting to put out blaze and clear out people from the building.
