A 41-year-old Indonesian caregiver is looking for a new job after her Singaporean employer, 67, put her in the hospital by pushing her down an escalator.
The incident happened last Friday afternoon when the man, who has been diagnosed with dementia, got into a struggle with his caregiver at a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, the Lianhe Wanbao (Singapore) reported. She had been trying to persuade him to take an elevator, but he insisted on using the escalator.

The Indonesian worker, who had been looking after the man for a month, was accompanying him on the way to visit his daughter's home in Clementi, a residential area in western Singapore, according to a Shin Min Daily News report.
The pair got into a heated argument over her suggestion to take the elevator. All of a sudden, the man pushed his caregiver, causing her to fall backwards and hit her head on the handrail before tumbling to the foot of the escalator.
An online photo showed the worker lying unconscious on the floor in front of the escalator. She was sent to National University Hospital by paramedics.
Meanwhile, the man went missing for an hour, until he was found in Tiong Bahru.
The Indonesian worker, who had to stay in hospital for a week, told reporters that she was seeking a change of employer, and her agent said a transfer was being arranged and should happen in two or three weeks.
