Jordan partakes in meetings of Arab ministers of tourism, culture

Amman, Dec. 11 (Petra) -- Jordan participated in the meetings of the Arab ministers of tourism and culture in the Library of Alexandria in Egypt with the aim of setting a strategy to incorporate heritage and culture in tourism.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture and representative of Jordan, Hazza' Barari, said that: "culture is the bedrock of all nations in tourism and industry, and that requires reconsidering the cultural projects infrastructures to attract more tourists and to make cultures a contributor in the Arab states economies."

Barari showcased Jordan's experience in merging culture with tourism, pointing out that the kingdom is ready to cooperate with its Arab brethren to make use of this experience.
