Saudi embassy dismisses reports on robbing Saudis in Jordan

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 26 (Petra)-The Saudi embassy in Amman has dismissed reports on robbing two Saudi citizens while picnicking in the touristy Wadi Al Rayyan region in northern Jordan.

Official Spokesperson of the Embassy, Abdul Salam Bin Abdullah Al Enzi, said the embassy did not receive any notification of such an incident.

Jordan is a safe and secure country thanks to its wise leadership as well as efficiency of its security agencies, which provide full services to Jordanians and non-Jordanians alike in the Kingdom, he affirmed.

"Such rumors aimed at sowing sedition and propagating lies and fabricated stories are being disseminated and promoted by parties hostile to both brotherly kingdoms," he said.

The spokesperson pointed out to cooperation between the embassy and the security agencies to solve problems facing Saudis visiting Jordan or those who seek medical treatment or study in Jordan.
