TSA chief battle against the threat of terrorists' switched tactics

(MENAFN) The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) led by David Pekoske is currently facing a struggle over discovering a method to guard mass transit systems from attacks seeing that terrorists are switching their targets from skies to streets.

This week on a busy New York City transit hub, an attack took place intensifying concerns of the agency on terrorists changing their approach as a challenge for toughened aviation security.

During this week's interview with The Hill, Pekoske stated "the primary goal is to ever increase the effectiveness of the security we provide, not just in the aviation sector, but also in the surface transportation sector, and actually that's even more front of mind today than it was over the weekend, with the bomber up in New York City."
