Kuwait's airport project to be finished by 2020

(MENAFN) The Kuwait government decided to reduce the completion time for the new terminal at Kuwait International Airport from six to four years.

Moreover, the decision was taken at a ministerial meeting, which studied recent situations and offers presented by the contractor as well as the public policy on such projects.

Accordingly, the project's progress could be postponed by two years unless the civil and the military installations on the site were removed.

In May 2016, Turkey's Limak Construction proclaimed that it has been awarded a construction deal worth USD4.30bn for the project.
