Growth in global smartphones sales in Q3 by 7%


(MENAFN) German market research group GfK reported that global smartphone sales in Q3 of this year grew by 7%, due to continued growth in China, with increases in all other regions except North America.

Accordingly, a total of 353 million smartphones have been sold in Q3 worldwide.

Arndt Polifke, global director of telecom research at GfK stated: "Smartphone sales growth continued at a steady pace in the third quarter with year-on-year growth across all regions except North America."
