Russia seeks for better business ties with Finland


(MENAFN) Russia intends to enhance the quality of the trade and economic cooperation with Finland, based on government officials' recent statements.

The largest country in the world targets to advance the mutual strategic partnership and cooperation, which adapts to the vital interests of both nations.

Diplomatic ties between the two countries dramatically improved after the ending of the Soviet Union and the creation of the Russian Federation in 1991.

"Despite the unfavorable situation in the global economy, Finland remains one of our leading trade and economic partner," stated Russia's Foregin Minister.
